It's all about power, dude. So conquer at least one territory each turn so you can collect a card. Remember cards build armies... quickly.
The more stars you collect, the more valuable those stars become. Two stars are worth only two armies but get greedy because 10 stars are worth 30 armies.
Your territories with cities are way more valuable than those without. These territories count double when you're gathering reinforcements. Do the math. Territories with cities double your chance for world domination.
Stay focused on the Objectives. If none of the available Objectives are eyeballing, say your South America, then don't be a loser by stationing too many armies there.
Go for your opponent's Objectives (and cards) first. It's way easier than attempting the remaining Objectives.
Don't space out. Objectives are claimed at the end of a player's turn.
This game moves wicked fast and you should minimize the number of turns spent positioning armies. Slow down and think it through, man. Position your armies so that when you complete this turn's Objective, you're ready to kick butt on your next turn.
One Objective per turn. But if you do complete two Objectives on the same turn, grab the easier of the two and leave the gnarly Objectives for your opponents.
When attacking, a 3-to-1 ratio (or better) will most likely make you Da Man.
Don't be stoopid. If you attack with a single die (one-on-one) odds are totally with the other guy.
If an opponent claims two (count 'em two) Objectives, don't wuss out, now's your chance, capture his Capitol.
By throwing down an Airfield near the Capitol you not only guard what's yours but you make it really tough for your opponent to complete his Objective.
If you've got the goods, man up to this: blow off earning Objectives early in the game to claim territory cards instead. Let the stars on the cards build up, then unleash hell and attack any player who's earned at least two Objectives.
