Fifty percent of Hasbro’s net profits from the worldwide sales of ZAMBI THE BABY ELEPHANT will be donated to Hasbro’s PROJECT ZAMBI Fund, which will support programs that provide direct services to children orphaned by AIDS in Africa. Hasbro has committed to donating a minimum of $500,000 (in U.S. dollars) to the Fund, beginning in 2009. *

The PROJECT ZAMBI Fund, which is supported in part by sales of ZAMBI THE BABY ELEPHANT, will begin making grants in late 2009 through the Hasbro Children’s Fund.  Please check back in late 2009 for more information. As we begin distribution of the funds, we will post information on the programs we are supporting and the progress they are making in assisting children orphaned by AIDS in Africa. 

*Hasbro will donate 50 percent of its net profits from worldwide sales of Zambi the Baby Elephant, or a minimum of $1.25 for each Zambi sold, in 2009.
