  1. Eligibility: The PLAYSKOOL “Do You Believe In Play?” Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older as of date of sweepstakes entry and who reside in a household where there is a related child between the ages of 2 and 5 living in the household on the date of Sweepstakes entry. Employees of Hasbro, Inc. (“Sponsor”), its subsidiaries and all coordinating agencies for the Sweepstakes and their immediate families, and persons living in the same household of such employees are not eligible. Sweepstakes is governed by U.S. laws and is subject to all federal, state and local laws. Void outside the U.S., in Puerto Rico and other U.S. territories and possessions and where prohibited. By participating in the Sweepstakes, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges, administrators and Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects. In addition, participants agree to release Sponsor and its affiliates, subsidiaries, and all coordinating agencies from any and all liability, claims or damages arising out of their participation, and the acceptance and use of any prize.

 

  1. How To Enter: The Sweepstakes promotion period begins at 10:00am, ET on June 24, 2008 and ends at 11:59am, ET on July 31, 2008 (the “Promotion Period”). To enter, go to www.PLAYSKOOL.com during the Promotion Period. There you will have an opportunity to take the fun “Do You Believe in Play?” Quiz on the web page.  Participants are not required to take the Quiz.  Participants may click the “Enter” button on the web page to go to the Sweepstakes registration page regardless of whether the Participant takes the Quiz or not. Taking the Quiz does not increase your chances of winning.  At the Sweepstakes site, participants will be required to provide certain registration information in order to enter the Sweepstakes. Limit one (1) entry over the course of the Promotion Period per person, immediate family, household, dwelling, street address, home computer, email address or account, phone line or account, DSL line or account, or cable line or account (or the equivalent of any of the foregoing). If entry has been made in violation of the terms of the previous sentence, then Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion reserves the right to disqualify the entrant and any entry from any of the foregoing sources from participation in the Sweepstakes and any and all Hasbro promotions. Use of any method of automated entry software is prohibited. Any participant who attempts to enter with multiple e-mail addresses or under multiple identities, or uses any other device to enter multiple times will be disqualified. The decision of the Sponsor to disqualify an entry or entrant shall be final and binding in all respects.
  1. Prize / Approximate Retail Value: One (1) Grand Prize Package: Trip for four (one of whom must be the Grand Prize winner (over 18 years of age), one of whom must be an eligible-age related child residing in the winner’s residence and all of whom must travel on the same itinerary) to attend the PLAYSKOOL Play Aid Benefit Concert in the New York/Long Island metropolitan area on a date between August 22-24, 2008. Package consists of: roundtrip air transportation for four (4) between gateway airport near winner’s city of residence and New York, NY; 3 day/2 night hotel accommodations (one room, quadruple occupancy) in the Long Island, New York area; four (4) tickets to one PLAYSKOOL Play Aid Benefit Concert; opportunity to meet with one or more select Play Aid performers; $500 spending money; $150 worth of PLAYSKOOL retail products selected by the Sponsor. Approximate retail value of the Grand Prize is $6,750.00. If winner resides within 250 miles of concert venue, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute ground transportation for air transportation and adjust the retail value of the Grand Prize accordingly. Winner and his/her guests must be prepared to travel together to attend the concert on one of the designated concert dates (August 22-24, 2008) or prize will be forfeited. If, for any reason, the concert is postponed or cancelled, Sponsor is not responsible, and trip will be awarded without concert tickets on same itinerary. (25) First Prize Packages: Each First Prize Package consists of: one (1) HELMET HEROES product; one (1) DANCE CAM product; one (1) BOUNCE BACK RACER product; one (1) CHERRY BLOSSOM MARKET product. Approximate retail value of each First Prize Package is $159.96. (50) Second Prizes: One (1) $25 HasbroToyShop online Gift Card. If winner does not use the $25 Gift Card prize in its entirety by one (1) year from date of prize award, prize and/or prize amount balance will be forfeited. Approximate retail value of each Second Prize is $25.00. Total approximate retail value of all prizes offered is $11,999. No substitution of prizes will be allowed, except by Sponsor in its discretion. Prizes and individual components of prize packages are subject to availability and Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value.  Any participant who is notified that he or she has won is a potential winner until Sponsor determines, in its sole discretion, that the participant is eligible to win in accordance with these Official Rules.

 

  1. Sweepstakes Drawings / Odds: On or around August 4, 2008, a Sweepstakes random drawing will be conducted by an independent judging agency from among all the eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. Odds of winning a prize will depend on the number of valid entries received during the Promotion Period. Many will enter; only one (1) Grand Prize will be awarded and seventy-six (76) entrants will win any prize. The decisions of the independent judging agency will be final and binding. Winners will be notified by e-mail, telephone or mail and must meet all eligibility requirements including the execution and delivery of all necessary releases and/or prize acknowledgement forms. Such releases and/or prize acknowledgement forms must be completely filled out by winner and received by Sponsor within five days of notification or winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected.  Sponsor may deny the awarding of a prize to any participant for any ineligibility or non-compliance with these Official Rules.
  1. Conditions of Participation & Certain Restrictions: The Sweepstakes participant is solely responsible for entering the Sweepstakes during the Promotion Period and properly claiming a prize if selected as a winner. Prizes may not be transferred or assigned. Prize winners must agree to certain terms and conditions related to eligibility, release of liability, and Sponsor’s use of winner's name and/or likeness for publicity, advertising and promotional purposes, without compensation (unless prohibited by law) as a condition for award of prize. Noncompliance may result in disqualification. Grand Prize winner must travel on the dates specified or Grand Prize winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected. Airline chosen at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Certain travel and lodging restrictions may apply Actual value of prize may vary depending on timing and point of departure. Grand Prize winner is responsible for all expenses and taxes not expressly included in the prize package as described in paragraph #3 above; including but not limited to meals, merchandise, incidentals, souvenirs and gratuities. Winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes associated with the prize. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to the Sponsor to use winner's name and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and promotion without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. Sponsor is not responsible for technical, hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or incomplete or garbled computer transmissions that might limit a consumer's ability to participate in the sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the sweepstakes or disqualify a participant if fraud or technical failures destroy or undermine the integrity of the sweepstakes as determined by the Sponsor. IMPORTANT: ANY ATTEMPT TO DEFRAUD OR VIOLATE THE RULES IN ANY WAY IN CONNECTION WITH THIS SWEEPSTAKES WILL BE PROSECUTED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW AT SPONSOR’S SOLE AND ABSOLUTE DISCRETION. SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MAKE ANY INVESTIGATION INTO THE ELIGIBILITY OF A PARTICIPANT OR ENTRY AND DELAY THE AWARD OF ANY PRIZE DURING THE INVESTIGATION FOR ANY PERIOD OF TIME IT DEEMS NECESSARY AND PENDING THE RECEIPT OF ANY AND ALL INFORMATION IT DEEMS NECESSARY. IF SPONSOR SUSPECTS ANY PARTICIPANT OF ATTEMPTING TO DEFRAUD OR VIOLATE THE RULES IN ANY WAY, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DISQUALIFY THAT PARTICIPANT FROM THIS AND ALL OTHER HASBRO PROMOTIONS.  SPONSOR’S DECISIONS RESULTING FROM ANY SUCH INVESTIGATION SHALL BE FINAL AND BINDING IN ALL RESPECTS.

 

  1. Winner List: Name and city and state of residence of prize winners will be available after the termination of the Sweepstakes. To receive a winner’s list, mail a stamped, self-addressed envelope accompanied with a signed, hand-printed request to: “PLAYSKOOL Believe In Play Winner’s List,” PO Box 11450, Bozeman, MT 59719-1450. All requests must be received by September 15, 2008.
