Official Rules
NO PURCHASE OR SUBMISSSION OF STORY NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. NEITHER PURCHASE NOR SUBMISSION OF STORY INCREASES YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. SWEEPSTAKES IS OFFERED IN AND OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES AND DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER, WHO MEET THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS DETAILED BELOW. VOID IN PUERTO RICO AND WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
1. Eligibility: Open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia (“United States”) who are 18 years of age or older and reside in the United States at time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Hasbro, Inc. (“Sponsor”), Alcone Marketing Group (“Alcone”), and their respective parents, affiliated and subsidiary companies, advertising and promotional agencies, prize suppliers, and suppliers of promotion materials and services and any other entity engaged in any way in the development, production, printing, distribution or execution of the Sweepstakes (collectively, ”Sweepstakes Entities”) and members of the immediate family or household of such individuals are not eligible. “Immediate family” means spouse, parents, siblings, children, and their spouses, whether or not residing in the same household.
2. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 A.M. Eastern Time (“ET”) on 7/1/08 and ends at 11:59:59 P.M. ET on 10/31/08 (“Sweepstakes Period”). Sponsor’s computer shall be the official timekeeping device for this Sweepstakes.
3. ENTRY INTO SWEEPSTAKES: Go to www.noodleboro.com during the Sweepstakes Period, click on the Sweepstakes link or icon, and follow the instructions to complete and submit the on-line entry form. You will be given the opportunity to submit a “share a moment” story about your child. However, this is not be required to enter and will not affect your chances of winning. Internet access and a valid e-mail address are required for Sweepstakes entry.
Limit of one entry per person, household or email address per day (12:00:01 A.M. ET – 11:59:59 P.M. ET). Any person who attempts to participate with multiple e-mail or street addresses, under multiple identities or uses any device or means to enter more than once per day will be disqualified.
4. DRAWING: A random drawing will be conducted on or about 11/14/08 by Alcone, an independent judging organization, from among all eligible entries received. Odds of winning will depend on number of eligible entries received.
5. PRIZE/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (ARV): (1) Grand Prize: A Disney* Cruise Line Vacation aboard the Disney Wonder to The Bahamas including Nassau and Castaway Cayâ for four (4) persons. Trip includes: a 4 night cruise (one (1) deluxe ocean view room (Category 9) for four (4) persons, quadruple occupancy), all onboard meals, Government Taxes and Fees (as defined in the Disney Cruise Line brochure available on request), including Fuel Supplements, onboard gratuities for stateroom host/hostess, dining room server, assistant server and head server, roundtrip coach class air transportation from a major U.S. gateway city airport close to winner’s residence (selected by Sponsor) to Orlando International Airport and ground transportation from Orlando International Airport to Port Canaveral and back to Orlando International Airport via Disney Cruise Line transportation. SEE PARAGRAPH 7 BELOW FOR CERTAIN PRIZE RESTRICTIONS. Approximate Retail Value: $5,000.
6. notification: Grand Prize Winner (“Winner”) will be notified by e-mail, and must provide by e-mail within three (3) days of the date of prize notification Winner’s full name and mailing address, which must be a street address, not a P.O. Box, in the United States (“Mailing Information”). If Winner does not provide all Mailing Information by the deadline, the Winner will be disqualified and an alternate Winner selected from among all remaining eligible entries received. Winner will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and a Liability Release and (where legal) a Publicity Release which must be returned within a time period determined by Sponsor and stated in letter forwarding the documents. Winner is only potential winner of the Sweepstakes until Sponsor has determined that Winner has satisfied all eligibility criteria. Failure to return documents as required, or if prize notification is returned as undeliverable, prize will be forfeited and an alternate Winner selected. Travel guests of Winner must execute a Liability Release, and where legal, a Publicity Release within a specified time prior to issuance of travel documents. If a travel companion is a minor, the minor’s parent or legal guardian must accompany minor on trip (that is, minor’s parent or legal guardian must be either the Winner or another travel companion of Winner), and parent or legal guardian must confirm and sign release documents on minor’s behalf.
7. Prize Restrictions: No substitution or transfer of prize permitted except at sole discretion of Sponsor, which reserves the right for any reason to substitute for all or part of the prize a prize of comparable or greater value. The Winner is solely responsible for payment of all taxes on the prize and for any expenses related to the acceptance and use of the prize including: shore excursions; travel insurance; laundry service; spa treatments; alcoholic beverages; local and long distance telephone calls; ship to shore communications; merchandise and souvenirs; incidental expenses; additional tips and gratuities; income and other taxes; transportation between winner’s home and gateway airport; and all other costs and expenses not otherwise mentioned herein. Winner will be issued an IRS 1099 Form for fair market value of prize. All services, travel and cruise are subject to availability and restrictions at Disney Cruise Line. Restrictions and blackout dates may apply. Cruise ship blackout dates are as follows and subject to change.

Grand Prize trip must be taken by November 22, 2009 aboard the Disney Wonder (at the discretion of Disney Cruise Vacationsâ) or prize will be forfeited in its entirety. Sixty (60) days’ advance notice is required for Grand Prize air and cruise reservations, which must be approved by Sponsor. Confirmation will be given on a space-available basis only. After a reservation has been confirmed no changes will be permitted. Reservations and airline tickets are non-refundable for cash or credit, non-transferable and non-changeable once issued and are not valid for upgrades or frequent flyer miles. If reservations or airline tickets are lost they will not be replaced. Cruise vacation or other prize elements may not be sold, traded, transferred, refunded, commissioned or redeemed for cash value. Vacation elements may not be substituted and vacations are non-commissionable. Sponsor reserves right to substitute ground travel for air travel if winner resides within approximately 200 miles of cruise departure location city, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Winner and all travel companions must travel on same itinerary on dates and at times specified by Sponsor and are solely responsible for insurance and any other required travel documents such as proper citizenship documentation which may include passports, valid alien registration card and/or necessary visas. Those without proper citizenship documentation will be denied boarding. It is the Winner’s and guest’s responsibility to check with their travel agent, government agencies, embassies or consulates prior to their vacation to ensure that they have proper citizenship documentation. U.S. Citizens can also visit the State Department’s travel website at www.travel.state.gov, or call the U.S. National Passport Information Center at (877) 4USA-PPT for more information. Guests of all ages are strongly encouraged to obtain passports. Actual value of Grand Prize will vary depending upon departure location and time of travel.
8. Limitation of liability: By participating, entrants agree: (a) to abide by the Official Rules and decisions of Sponsor and judges, which shall be final in all respects; (b) to release, discharge and hold harmless the Sweepstakes Entities from all liability, injuries, losses or damages of any kind to persons, including but not limited to death, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly from the acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the prize, or from participation in the Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes related activity; (c) that the Sweepstakes Entities have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guaranty, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relating to the prize, and (d) except where prohibited by law, the Winner agrees, without additional compensation and upon request, to consent in writing to permit Sponsor to use Winner’s first and last name, voice, likeness, biography, and home town for advertising, trade and promotional purposes in any and all media in perpetuity throughout the world, including www.noodleboro.com. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Sweepstakes if unauthorized human intervention or other causes corrupt, impair or undermine the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In such event, the Winner will be selected from all eligible entries legitimately received prior to event(s) causing cancellation or termination or in such other manner determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion to be fair, equitable and consistent with these Official Rules. Notice of such action by Sponsor will be posted on the Sweepstakes web site. In case of dispute, entries will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address provided on entry form. “Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet Access Provider, Online Service Provider, or other organization (for example, business, educational institution, etc.) responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. SPONSOR, ITS AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTION AGENCIES, AND INTERNET ACCESS PROVIDERS, ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR PRINTING OR TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS IN ANY SWEEPSTAKES-RELATED MATERIALS; OR FOR STOLEN, LOST, LATE, MISDIRECTED, DAMAGED, INCOMPLETE OR ILLEGIBLE ENTRIES, INCORRECT ENTRY OF INFORMATION BY ENTRANTS, OR MALFUNCTIONS OF ANY TELEPHONE OR OTHER COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK, COMPUTER EQUIPMENT, SOFTWARE OR ANY COMBINATION THEREOF, OR FOR ENTRY MATERIALS THAT HAVE BEEN TAMPERED WITH, OR FOR HUMAN ERROR, OR LOST OR DELAYED DATA TRANSMISSIONS. ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR TO UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW AND TO DISQUALIFY ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL FROM PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES OR OTHER PROMOTIONS OF SPONSOR.
9. Governing Law; CONSENT TO JURISDICTION: The Sweepstakes shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts without regard for choice of laws or conflicts of laws principles. Any and all disputes or claims arising out of or connected in any way with the Sweepstakes will be resolved individually and exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, except as set forth below regarding Sweepstakes Entities rights to seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction in any state. By participation in the Sweepstakes all participants hereby waive the right to consolidate or join the claims of other persons or parties who may be similarly situated. Notwithstanding anything contained herein to the contrary, Sweepstakes Entities may seek to obtain injunctive relief in any of the federal or state courts located in Massachusetts or any other court of competent jurisdiction for the breach or threatened breach of these Official Rules, without posting bond, in addition to any other remedies in law or equity which may be available to the Sweepstakes Entities. Each participant consents to jurisdiction and venue in the federal or state courts located in Massachusetts for the purposes set forth above or, in the event the Sweepstakes Entities seek to obtain injunctive relief as set forth above, jurisdiction in any court of competent jurisdiction in any state.
10. Winners List: For name of the Winner, mail a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Noodleboro Sweepstakes Winners List Request, P.O. Box 6601, Saddle Brook, NJ 07663. Requests must be received by 11/28/08.
