Using the basic shapes key above, follow the easy step-by-step instructions below to make your PLAY-DOH creation. Keep practicing, and you’ll get better at making all of the shapes. Use our color suggestions, or try your own! The less shapes you use, the more simple your creation. The more shapes you add, the more complex it becomes.

Print out instructions

Roll a large ball and shape into oval for the body. Roll a smaller ball, shape it into an oval and attach to body for face.

Roll small balls and flatten to circles. Place on body. Roll 2 balls and shape into ovals. Place 2 small circles on each oval and attach to face for the eyes.

Roll 2 small thin pieces of rope and attach together in a “V” shape. Attach “V” to top of face for antennae. Roll another piece of rope.

Attach rope to face for a mouth. Roll another piece of rope and attach down the center of the ladybug’s back. Excellent job! I hope your fabulous PLAY-DOH ladybug brings you lots of good luck!
