
1. Choose your location. Try to find a place with enough room to run around, with great places to hide.
2. Set a time and date for your tournament with plenty of time to recruit other players.
3. Spread the word. It's up to you to promote your event. This is the step that makes all the difference. The more people you get to play, the more intense the tournament becomes. Pass out flyers in school, or get an ad in your school newspaper or newsletter, or even the announcements (some schools may disallow such content, so get permission first). Remember this is YOUR event. You choose the location and the dates.
Once you get everyone to your tournament there are several ways you can structure a competition. Below are some examples of basic and themed games you can use at your event. Generally, the basic games make for the best tournaments - only the winning teams or players advance in the competition - but the themed games add a new dynamic of game play.
