What is MY3D?

MY3D is a new and unique device that brings 3D and 360° entertainment to your iPhone® or iPod touch®*...you have to see it to believe it!

How does it work?

Just snap your iPhone or iPod touch into the MY3D device. Download specially-formatted MY3D apps from the App Store, and you can view movie trailers, play games, visit Los Angeles, hunt for sharks, and more - all in 3D! Charges may apply for some apps.

What is 3D 360° viewing?

The MY3D viewer lets you look up, down and even directly behind you. For example, in MY3D 360° Sharks, you are a diver in an underwater shark cage. When you look down you see the floor of the cage, when you look up, you see the sun shining through the ocean. And when you look behind you...sharks! NOTE: Not all apps have 360° viewing.

How can I get MY3D apps?

If you have an iPhone or iPod touch, go to the App Store and download the MY3D apps. We recommend starting with MY3D Presents...which will show you exciting new 3D movie trailers, previews of all the newest MY3D apps and more! Charges may apply for some apps.

Why do I see two images when I'm not using the viewer?

The MY3D viewer uses unique optical features that transform these 2 images into dynamic 3D. All MY3D apps should be viewed only through the MY3D viewer.

What are the Format Specifications for the MY3D viewer?

With devise held in landscape (home button on right), the upper left corner is at (0,0). The viewport for each eye is listed below as a pair or coordinates. First is the upper left of viewport rectangle, second is lower right.

480x320 screens - Left eye (0, 0) (225, 296) / Right eye (254, 0) (479, 296)

960x640 screens - Left eye (0, 0) (450, 592) / Right eye (508, 0) (958, 592) 

I downloaded my first MY3D app and it's asking me to enter a code. Where do I get a code?

Your unique MY3D code is printed inside the viewer. See diagram below:

I entered my code, but I am getting an error message.

Is MY3D compatible with my new Verizon iPhone?

The MY3D viewer is compatible with both AT&T and Verizon iPhones. See the MY3D homepage for a list of all compatible devices.
