Buried Treasure Hunt

Turn an ordinary afternoon into an adventure by putting together this simple treasure hunt.

Kids love treasure, and they love finding it! All you do is "bury" a few treasures, write some clues, and let the fun begin.

What you'll need
Treasure Hunt Clue Cards, treasure, and a pencil.

How to play
First, pick some treasure (the spare change in the jar on your dresser, a coupon for extra cookies, or even a pair of movie tickets). Then, put your treasure in a sturdy container and find a hiding spot.

After you've "buried" the treasure, download the Treasure Hunt Clue Cards, and start making up clues that lead to clues that lead to the treasure. For example, your first clue might be "chilly chow." Once kids figure out they need to look in the refrigerator, they'll find another clue, and so on, until they find the treasure.
