Hasbro have a long tradition of donating our toys and games to help charities, schools and other community groups around the UK. Qualifying organisations can apply for a Lucky Dip box from Hasbro that contains a selection of our toys and games once during our donating year that runs from January to November. We get many photos and letters from groups that have successfully applied for a Lucky Dip box telling us how they’ve used their donation.

At Hasbro we receive thousands of requests for donations every year and to streamline the process we ask that all requests are made via our unique online cybergrants system. No applications are accepted via mail or telephone. Applications are invited from qualifying groups between 21st January and 12th November every year. We ask you first to check our criteria for donations listed below and read the FAQ’s on this site. When you are sure your group meet the criteria you can apply using our special online system.

Applying online

Applications are invited from qualifying groups between 21st January and 12th November every year. No applications are accepted via mail or telephone.

You will need to set up a unique user name and password and then complete the online forms. You will need to enter many details about the event and organisation. Applying for subsequent donations is easy as you can simply recall your stored information and tell us about your latest event. Each organisation/individual is entitled to apply for ONE Lucky Dip box per year. When your form has successfully been completed you will receive email confirmation that it has been received by Hasbro. Boxes will be sent out within 28 days.Applications are invited from qualifying groups between 21st January and 12th November every year.

 

Please note the product donation system is now closed for the festive period and will re-open again on the 21st January 2010. No applications are accepted via mail or telephone.

 Our criteria for donations

• We will prioritise charitable and community organisations that work with children and families.
• For schools - we prioritise schools in the Hillingdon Borough (where our Stockley Park offices are based), or schools close to our Newport warehouse. The same applies to playgroups and pre-school nurseries. 
• We do not give donations to individual applicants, however needy. All requests must come via or on behalf of a registered charity or community organisation. 
• We do not give donations to organisations concerned with animals. 
• We do not undertake any form of advertising in souvenir brochures e.g. for a charity dinner.
• The majority of our donations take the form of toys and games donations. Each charity box contains a selection of our popular games and toys including items for girls, boys and the whole family. We usually only give cash donations/sponsorship to our nominated charities of the year.
• Our product donations can be used how you wish as long as the items are not sold on for profit. Donations are generally for prizes, fundraising activities, raffles or to be used directly with children.
