Events & Activities

As well as donating thousands of products to charities and groups every year and sending out staff to take part in Team Hasbro volunteering activities, we have a program of regular and one off events and activities that we get involved in. Some of our latest activities are highlighted below.

  Kids' Council
Every twelve weeks children from local primary schools come to the Hasbro Head Office to find out how we make our toys and games and they get to try out our latest prototypes and see our products in development.

The Mayor of Hillingdon, pictured left, visited a Kids' Council session to see how Hasbro engage local school children.

The children that attend Kids' Council give us very useful feedback on what they think of our latest prototypes that we use to refine our products.

  London Marathon
Every year Hasbro have staff who run the London Marathon for children’s charities and we support them with their fundraising efforts by helping them organise special fundraising events and activities.

One of the key fundraising activities, pictured, is The Hasbro Charity Football Tournament that brings together local businesses, suppliers and organisations for a day of sporting fun.

In 2008 Hasbro staff ran the marathon for children's charity SPARKS.

  Christmas Community Activities
December is one of the busiest times for community activities, staff can be found running fundraising tombolas, gift wrapping shoppers presents at the local shopping centres as well as helping organise a giving program that supports many local organisations.

Charity Spinning – Every spring Hasbro staff can be found keeping the static exercise bikes spinning with the support of staff from Virgin Active Gym at Stockley Park. This 12 hour spinning event helps raise funds for the cyclists taking part in the industry Big Kids Bike Ride charity event.
Mentoring – Hasbro staff volunteers carry out mentoring activities within local schools helping young people take control of their choices at a challenging phase of their lives.

Children of Chernobyl – Every Summer Hasbro host a traditional tea party with entertainment for visiting poorly children from Chernobyl who visit the UK on a month long recuperative holiday.
