We are so proud to introduce to our 2010 Hasbro Community Action Hero Awardees. Six youth were selected in June, based on their volunteerism, to fly to New York City and receive the award in front of 7,000 people at Radio City Music Hall. In the spirit of charity and goodwill, Hannah kicked off a national movement when she convinced her family to sell their big, beautiful home and move into one half its size, donating half of the sale price to charity.
Cole Layman

Oakton, VA
Cole has served his community by helping to kick-start his school's first annual Random Acts of Kindness week and filling an important role in the school's literacy program.
Shaeli Marie Funk
Age 11
Jackson, WY
Inspired by a book about a bake sale, Shaeli started her own club collecting and donating gently used items for people who needed them most. The club has grown to fill holiday stockings, donate toys and more.
JT Eden
Age 7
San Carlos, CA
JT started a monthly service club, the Planet Protectors, which has raised funds for Haitian relief and created care packages for Marines serving in Afghanistan.
Faith Nelson
Age 10
Greensboro, NC
Faith has started a recycling program at her school, helped feed six families for Thanksgiving and managed a uniform clothing drive for students in need.
Alexandria Segovia
Age 16
Miami, FL
Alexandria serves as President of the Youth Advisory Council for Hands On Miami and provides program leadership and programming to its members and the community.
