HASBRO EXPANDS CARD GAME LINE IN 2010
Shuffle Up the Fun with Four New Card Games
EAST LONGMEADOW, MASS. (February 12, 2010) – In 2009, Hasbro brought new life and innovation to the card game category with the introduction of titles based on iconic brands, as well as updates to favorite card games of the past. As a follow up to the runaway success of SCRABBLE SLAM and MONOPOLY DEAL card games, Hasbro continues to bring classic board game play to life in small, “snackable” forms of fun with new card game titles.
“Hasbro card games allow for on-the-go fun anytime and anywhere and are available at an affordable cost for the entire family,” said Phillip Jackson, Group Executive of Games at Hasbro. “Families will enjoy playing these card games at home during Family Game Night, when traveling or when simply looking for a quick burst of entertainment.”
In 2010, Hasbro adds more card games to the game aisle, offering new ways to play classic games. Play your cards right and keep your wits about you with SORRY! REVENGE and YAHTZEE HANDS DOWN card games in order to win these new versions of the classic games. Adults can get together for wedge-stealing fun with the TRIVIAL PURSUIT STEAL card game, which incorporates the new, all-inclusive question format introduced to TRIVIAL PURSUIT. Also included in the Hasbro card game line is an old family favorite, MILLE BORNES, where players race down an imaginary road of adventure to score the most points by bypassing hazards.
Card game titles introduced in 2009 will continue to be available, including SCRABBLE SLAM, MONOPOLY DEAL, PICTUREKA!, LITTLEST PET SHOP GO FISH, and ROOK.
