East Longmeadow, Mass. (February 13, 2009) – In 2009, Hasbro’s loveable blue elephant, Elefun, will discover the meaning of friendship with his gang of 100 friends. From a silly giraffe to a rolly polly hippo, Elefun and his hilarious crew will have kids and families rolling in fun!

Kids will be captivated by the classic games that feature Elefun’s friends, but will also love the new additions, including GIRAFFALAFF LIMBO and SCATTERPILLAR SCRAMBLE. Each game in the Elefun and Friends line comes with an interactive DVD that features 3 fun songs, “100 Animal Rap,” “Hippo - Gobble It Up” and the “Elefun Theme Song.” The songs will introduce the new cast of characters and have kids singing and dancing. With Elefun and Friends the fun never ends!

Preschoolers will be on their toes as they catch butterflies and move to the music with ELEFUN and GIRAFFALAFF LIMBO. Kids and families will love the fast-paced thrill of SCATTERPILLAR SCRAMBLE and HUNGRY, HUNGRY HIPPOS, and budding athletes can practice putting skills with a bright orange gator in GATOR GOLF.

ELEFUN

Preschoolers will jump for joy as ELEFUN’s motorized trunk blows colorful butterflies into the air. Gather the nylon butterflies as they float to the ground or use the nets to catch them mid-air. The player who gathers the most butterflies earns a special blue butterfly token. Collect three blue tokens to win the game.

GIRAFFALAFF LIMBO

GIRAFFALAFF LIMBO is the crazy new game of “how low can you go?” Spin the dial to try one of the 6 limbo styles: classic, crabwalk, crawl, giraffe walk, forward or backward. The game’s built-in sound will play an encouraging song as preschoolers try not to bump into GIRAFFALAFF. If GIRAFFALAFF is knocked over, he’ll roll on the floor in laughter. The player that passes under GIRAFFALAFF at the lowest level wins.

SCATTERPILLAR SCRAMBLE GAME

Kids will love watching SCATTERPILLAR wiggle and dance to the music in this fast-paced marble game. Players race to place colored marbles in SCATTERPILLAR’s wobbly hands. The first player to securely place all 8 marbles wins.

HUNGRY HUNGRY HIPPOS GAME

GATOR GOLF
