Change Your Game with Four New U-Build Titles Based On
BATTLESHIP, CONNECT 4, MOUSE TRAP and SORRY! Editions

East Longmeadow, Mass. (February 12, 2009) – This Fall, get ready to experience Hasbro games like never before. With the new line of U-BUILD games, you build the game and then play how you want. U-BUILD games allow kids to customize some of their favorite games, creating a unique experience each time they are played. Based on popular Hasbro games, including BATTLESHIP, CONNECT 4, MOUSE TRAP and SORRY!, players control the action during the game by moving brick-based pieces to different locations around the game board. Kids will have hours of fun constructing, knocking down and rebuilding these ever-changing games.

In 2010, players can experience the quick, build-up play of U-BUILD games with four new titles based on classic games. The U-BUILD BATTLESHIP Game allows players to construct and customize battleships, from Aircraft Carriers to Destroyers, adding an arsenal of their choice to sink the “enemy’s” ships first. In U-BUILD CONNECT 4, players build a grid using snap-in U-BUILD bricks, and use moveable bumper bricks to sink four checkers in a row – or block an opponent from scoring. In the U-BUILD MOUSE TRAP Game, players add U-BUILD cheese bricks to the game board and launch their marble mouse around the game board in order to collect the most pieces of cheese. And with U-BUILD SORRY!, players build the game board into a maze of U-BUILD bricks and a race to move all pawns back to Home – breaking down and building up brick walls along the way!

U-BUILD BATTLESHIP GAME

Change your game with the U-BUILD BATTLESHIP Game! A new way to play the classic game of BATTLESHIP, in U-BUILD BATTLESHIP players can build and customize their fleet of ships, including Battleships, Aircraft Carriers, Destroyers, Submarines and PT Boats, and stack weapons on the ships to increase the power of their hits. Destruction is the name of the game as players work to blow their opponent’s ships “out of the water” by firing shots across the battle zone, while keeping their ships hidden and safe. Sink all of the “enemy’s” ships to win!

U-BUILD CONNECT 4
(Approximate Retail Price: $19.99; Recommended Age: 6 & up; Available: Fall 2010; Players: 2)
U-BUILD CONNECT 4 combines the family favorite of CONNECT 4 with customizable U-BUILD bricks that create a unique game experience every time the game is played. Start by building a grid using U-BUILD bricks that snap into the game unit. Once the grid is built, players drop their red and yellow checkers into the top of the game and watch as the checker bounces down into a row. Add U-BUILD bumper arms to the top of the grid to help to steer a checker into a chosen row in your attempt to get four in a row. Bumper bricks can be used to assist a score or used as a defensive move to keep the opponent from scoring. Drop the checkers and see where they land – slide, bump and block your way to victory!

U-BUILD MOUSE TRAP GAME

In the U-BUILD MOUSE TRAP Game, the traditional game of MOUSE TRAP is heading into space. Players begin by adding and stacking U-BUILD bricks that look like cheese in a location of their choice. Use the Action dice to move the marble mice around the game board and use the boot to launch your mouse onto the moon made of cheese to collect the most pieces of cheese to win!

U-BUILD SORRY!
(Approximate Retail Price: $14.99; Recommended Age: 6 & up; Available: Fall 2010; Players: 2 to 4)
The U-BUILD SORRY! game brings new life to the classic family game of sweet revenge, and gives players an exciting game play experience that is ever-changing. During a game of U-BUILD SORRY!, players weave through the brick maze in a race to the center of the game board. Along the way, players will bust down and build up U-BUILD Walls, and “claw” their way from Start to Home using the customizable Claw pawn-grabber. Be the first player to get all three pawns Home to win. Watch out – your opponent could be out for sweet revenge and use their Claw to send you back to Home in a flash!
