Orphanages (in partnership with World Vision and Teammates for Kids Foundation)

We recognize the plight of orphaned children around the world who are living in very difficult situations. In some small way we hope to bring a smile to these children through donations of our toys.

Each year Hasbro, in conjunction with World Vision (www.WorldVision.org) and Teammates for Kids Foundation (www.teammates4kids.com), selects a different country and supports their orphanages. In the past, we have supported orphaned children in Jerusalem, Romania, Mongolia, Peru, Malawi, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Russia and Zambia.

We do receive many requests from parents who are in the adoption process requesting toys for their respective child's orphanage. Due to the potential risk this poses to these parents at customs, Hasbro makes all of its donations for orphanages to World Vision and Teammates for Kids Foundation who have the field expertise to be sure the toys reach the intended destination.
