OVERVIEW/GENERAL GUIDELINES

Through strategic nonprofit partnerships, Hasbro’s Gift of Play product donation program focuses on making a difference in the lives of children around the globe.

The Gift of Play product donation program supports nonprofit organizations that provide around-the-clock care for children, such as hospitals and shelters.  In addition, we support after school programs in areas where we have an operating facility and summer camps for sick or needy children.  We also have a generous holiday giving program that, with the help of our partners, works to ensure that needy children do not go without a toy on the morning of his or her holiday.  Our orphanage program, in partnership with World Vision and Teammates for Kids Foundation, helps to bring smiles to the faces of children who are orphans across the world.

GUIDELINES & PROGRAM APPLICATIONS

All requests must be the following criteria before they can be considered for a donation:

• The organization requesting a donation must be a US-based nonprofit and charitable organization and provide a copy of their 501(c)(3) Tax Status Determination Letter issued by the IRS.
• The donated products must go directly into the hands of sick or needy children.
• All organizations receiving any donation from the Gift of Play program must affirm the Non-Discrimination Policy for Hasbro, Inc. charitable giving programs.  The policy is as follows:

Non-Discrimination Policy:  All recipients of grants, sponsorship dollars, and in-kind support from any of Hasbro, Inc.’s charitable giving programs must not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran and marital status.

Please note that Hasbro’s Gift of Play Program does not support the following:

• Fundraisers of any kind (including but not limited to carnivals, auctions and raffles)
• Individuals
• Intermediary donations
• Schools
• Incentive Programs
• Lost or broken pieces to our games or toys (please contact Customer Service )

Hasbro supports the following programs with donations of product.  For guidelines and applications, click on the appropriate program below.  All requests must be made online.  We DO NOT accept written requests.

Please be advised that Hasbro receives thousands of requests for product donations each year, and it is impossible to help the large number of worthy causes who apply. We do not like to disappoint anyone, and we ask for your understanding if we are unable to assist your group.
