Q. Do I have to change the doll's diaper?
A. ALWAYS change your doll's diaper and clean her after she drinks. NEVER let your doll sit with a wet diaper.
Q. Can I reuse used diapers?
A. Discard used diapers; they cannot be washed or reused.
Q. What's the best way to clean the doll?
A. Clean doll's face and body by wiping gently with a soft, damp cloth. Do not rub.
Q. Can the doll get a bath?
A. Do not submerge doll in water; it is not intended for bath-time play.
Q. Can I use detergent on the doll's clothes?
A. Doll's clothes are machine-washable (mild detergent, cold water, gentle cycle). Use only non-chlorine bleach when needed, and tumble dry low. Warm iron if needed. Clothing can also be spot-cleaned with a cool damp cloth.

A. Squeeze your doll's wrist bracelet to make her cheeks light up and to hear her tell you what hurts!
Q. Why is my doll not responding and doing unusual things?
A. If your doll is unresponsive, or if sounds become erratic, the battery power may be low. Replace batteries.

A. BABY ALIVE doll food is non-toxic and made of food-grade ingredients. It is not intended to be eaten.
Q. How do I get my doll to start playing?
A. Press her tummy switch to begin playing. Press her belly repeatedly to make her giggle! Your doll will go to sleep after a few minutes of inactivity. Press her tummy switch to start playing again.
Q. How do I make the doll food?
A. 1. Add water up to the fill line in your doll's bowl (about 15 ml or 3 tsp of water).
2. Open one packet of BABY ALIVE doll food and pour it into the bowl with water.
3. Mix the doll food and water together. Doll food will thicken as it's stirred.
4. Fill your doll's bottle with water for her to sip between spoonfuls of doll food.
Q. Do I have the feed the doll right away after mixing her doll food?
A. Be sure to feed your doll right after you've mixed up her doll food. Use the included spoon to feed your doll small amounts of doll food. After every few spoonfuls of doll food, give your doll a drink of water by pressing the bottle into her mouth. Gently squeeze the bottle to release water, giving her a few sips at a time. Doll food cannot be stored; discard after use.
Q. Can I use other doll foods with BABY ALIVE Real Surprises Baby?
A. Use only BABY ALIVE doll food mixes (sold separately); never feed her real food.
Q. Why is the BABY ALIVE doll food too thick?
A. If BABY ALIVE doll food becomes too thick, add a teaspoonful of water and stir well.
Q. How can I clean the doll when I change the diaper?
A. Remove diaper and wipe doll clean with a soft, damp cloth or paper towel.

Q. How can I prevent clogging BABY ALIVE food?
A. To prevent clogging, it is essential to rinse doll clean immediately after each use. To clean doll after feeding, give the doll several bottles of water until any remaining food has been rinsed away and the water runs clear (it's best to do this over the sink). Tilt bottle from side to side to make sure you've rinsed away any food build-up in the corners of the doll's mouth. Use a soft cloth or paper towel to wipe away any remaining food. Allow doll to dry.
